VibeVite ("VibeVite," "we," "our," or "us") is a product of Boomatics Software LLC, a company incorporated in the United States of America ("Boomatics"). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
VibeVite offers two products (collectively, the "Services"):
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information across both products, including vibevite.com, our web and mobile applications, and any related software or tools.
By using VibeVite, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Provide, operate, and maintain the VibeVite Personal and Business platforms.
Enable event creation, invitations, RSVPs, and video wish recording (Personal).
Enable Wall creation, Contributor posts, and Wall delivery to Recipients (Business).
Send service-related communications such as invitations, reminders, Wall notifications, and updates.
Personalize user experience and workflows for both products.
Process payments and manage subscriptions, including organization-level billing for Business accounts.
Improve platform performance, features, and usability.
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
a. Controller and Processor Roles
For VibeVite Personal, we act as the data controller with respect to the personal data of Hosts and guests, determining how and why that data is processed.
For VibeVite Business, where a company or organization ("Business Customer") creates an account, sets up Walls, or provides employee data (such as names, email addresses, or department information) to configure the Service, the Business Customer acts as the data controller of that employee data, and VibeVite acts as a data processor (or "service provider," as applicable under local law), processing that data solely to provide the Service on the Business Customer's instructions.
If you are an employee whose information was added to a Wall or organization account by your employer, and you have questions about how your data is used, you should contact your employer in the first instance. VibeVite will support Business Customers in responding to such requests as required by applicable law and any Data Processing Agreement in place between VibeVite and the Business Customer.
b. Data Processing Agreement
Business Customers may request a Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") governing VibeVite's processing of employee data. Contact us at the address in Section 13 to request one.
VibeVite is a product of Boomatics Software LLC. Information collected through VibeVite Personal may be shared internally across other Boomatics products and services for the purposes of:
Platform improvement and feature development
Security, fraud prevention, and compliance
Internal analytics and business operations
Employee data processed on behalf of a Business Customer under Section 3 is not shared across other Boomatics products except as necessary to provide the Service, ensure security, or as instructed by the Business Customer.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
Where VibeVite acts as a processor for a Business Customer (Section 3), the Business Customer's own legal basis for processing its employees' data
a. Personal Event Participants
Information and media shared within a Personal event may be visible to invited guests based on the event's privacy settings.
b. Business Wall Participants
Content posted to a Wall — including GIFs, photos, audio, video, and comments — is visible to the Host, Contributors, and the Recipient, according to the Wall's configured visibility settings. Where a company administrator has organization-level access, that administrator may also be able to view Wall activity, usage analytics, and Contributor lists associated with their organization's account.
c. Service Providers
We use trusted third-party providers for hosting, storage, analytics, communications, GIF/media integrations, video processing, and payment processing.
d. Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of users or Boomatics.
Your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where Boomatics or its service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are applied where required by law.
Depending on your location, and subject to Section 3 (where an employer is the controller of your data), you may have the right to:
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Request deletion of your account and data
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
If your data was provided by your employer through a Business account, please contact your employer first; we will assist them as needed to fulfill your request.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet contractual obligations, and comply with legal requirements.
Personal accounts: You may request account and data deletion at any time.
Business accounts: Wall content and employee data are generally retained for the duration of the Business Customer's subscription and any applicable retention period agreed with the Business Customer. If a Business Customer's subscription ends, or an employee's association with a Wall ends (e.g. the employee leaves the company), the Business Customer may request deletion, archival, or export of the associated Wall content in accordance with our data processing terms. Individual employees seeking deletion of their own data should also contact their employer.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
VibeVite Personal is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
VibeVite Business is intended solely for use by adult employees and administrators in a workplace context and is not directed at children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Services before taking effect.
